Based in Berlin, Germany, I work with faculty and staff in HigherEd and elsewhere to enable and foster connected and open learning experiences. I also do some podcasting and I am a Co-Director of Virtually Connecting.

3) What gives you hope these days?
Collaboration and communication across borders in times of crisis.
4) Who are you learning from lately?
I have been learning quite a lot from a German virologist, Christian Drosten, who appears on a daily podcast for updates on the current crisis.
5) In your opinion, what should we all be caring about? Why?
Especially in online settings like this one, we should care to make space for those who are usually not heard as loudly as others.
6) What do you hope to take away from OER20?
Lots of inspiring sessions, plenty of laughs.
