1) Who are you?
I inspire innovation and creativity in education at all levels and spread excitement about transforming how we teach with technology. Based near Cape Town, I work in online spaces where my company builds discipline specific teacher professional development courses for educators of all ages. Quite recently I started a new job as Head of Postgraduate Research at the online university, Two Oceans Graduate Institute.
2) What is your vibe? Share it in a meme or quote…
If we want learners who are innovators and creators, we have to empower teachers to innovate and create with/out technology. Teachers teach what they know and believe in.
3) What gives you hope these days?
The incredible teachers of this world. The Titanic may or may not be sinking by they’re all building courses and online resources to keep children learning, refusing to ever give up.

5) In your opinion, what should we all be caring about? Why?
Limiting our exposure to information and taking time to care about the people we love and share spaces with.
6) What do you hope to take away from OER20?
Connections with people who care about teachers and teaching in resources constrained environments where technology can change how teaching and learning happens.
