1) Who are you?

I’m an Innovation and Community Producer at the Disruptive Media Learning Lab, Coventry University. Much of my work at the Lab focuses on driving new approaches to teaching and learning, including the ethical application of technologies to support open education, interdisciplinary learning, digital making, and the development of digital fluency.

2) What is your vibe? Share it in a meme or quote…

“For amid the Ridley Scott images of world cities, the writing about skyscraper fortresses, the Baudrillard visions of hyperspace … most people actually still live in places like Harlesden or West Brom. Much of life for many people, even in the heart of the First World, still consists of waiting in a bus-shelter with your shopping for a bus that never comes.” – Doreen Massey in Space, Place and Gender

3) What gives you hope these days?

Friends, family and good deeds.

4) Who are you learning from lately?

Friends, family and colleagues. All the face-to-face humans that I now have to bombard with memes and deeptakes remotely.

5) In your opinion, what should we all be caring about? Why?

The planet and each other.

Because we need a habitable planet regardless of how many bunkers the rich build for themselves.

Because it’s all that matters.

6) What do you hope to take away from OER20?

Hope, energy and awesomeness.
