1) Who are you?
I’m the Interim Customer Support Manager for Reclaim Hosting. I’ve spent the last 3 years at Reclaim Hosting building out a support infrastructure that emphasizes teaching first and empowering each other to learn more.
In my time off lately, you can find me playing Animal Crossing on my switch, spending way too much time scrolling through TikTok (not ashamed lol), watching a ton of movies, and trying my hand at some neglected DIY projects I haven’t gotten a chance to work through– this week– building shelves!

3) What gives you hope these days?
All of the wonderful good news and content that’s getting created and curated these days. People like the #OER20 community coming together to still hold a conference where we can share ideas and collaborate.
4) Who are you learning from lately?
Friends, roommates, family, coworkers. Our conversations make us closer. I’ve jumped into work a bit more, and I get to hear about work the people in my circle are doing with work and what they are going through. Learn a lot more about online tools as I work more remotely from home.
5) In your opinion, what should we all be caring about? Why?
We should be caring about one another. Coming together in times like this to forge new relationships and maintain old gold relationships. Check-in on someone when they cross your mind. Invite someone to catch up over a Zoom happy hour. Call your family.
6) What do you hope to take away from OER20?
A chance to step away from the craziness of the news. And inspiring new ways to support the community in the open.
